Day 1 is always pretty boring for a good majority of the day. Wake up. Drive. Drive. Drive. Drive. Boooorrrrriiinnng! We didn’t hit the hotel until about 2:30, so we had to start the party right away to make up for lost time. We jumped straight to our room and started checking out all of the rooms and beds…this place is awesome! Morgan and I have a whole room all to ourselves with bunk beds, TV and a bathroom!

After we made ourselves at home, we decided to venture out a bit. First up on the list was the Timberland Playground. We ran all up and down this huge, 3 story playground and played with instruments, ziplines, and best of all…the air cannons that shot foam balls all over the place. We did a little battling with a big kid that was taking on all the little kids. I’m not sure who won, but we all had fun.

Next up was a round of golf…underwater style. We played at the Abyss Mini-golf course that was all blacklight and crazy. There were aquariums built in to the walls and all sorts of crazy obstacles to tackle with our trusty putter and golf ball. On the last whole, there were even 2 nurse sharks to cheer us on!

A quick stop back at the room, then out to Buffalo Phil’s for dinner. Morgan and I got chicken strips (surprise!), Momma got nachos, and Daddy hit the salad bar (another surprise!). We filled our bellies and then split up a bit. Mommy wanted to check out the little outlet mall around the corner while Daddy chaperoned us through games and prize claws at Kunckleheads…the indoor amusement park on the back side of Phil’s. Morgan and I collected enough tickets for some fabulous prizes and we were ready to cash in just as Mommy checked in to see how we did. After we filled our bags with goodies, we headed back over to the hotel and made a bee-line to the ice cream store for a night time snack before hitting the room and lounging.

So, with Day 1 on the bag, let me check the schedule for tomorrow. Oh, it just says one thing, underlined 3 times and in all caps…WATERPARKS!

Wisconsin Dells – Day 1

Today Momma and I spent the whole day together doing “stuff.” We took Morgan to the orthodontist in Zionsville and hit Burger King before dropping Morgan off at school…on time! We then went home and played Connect Four, Uno Moo, and Dinosaur Train together. I love playing board games! Especially when she let’s me win!
We checked out the carpet store where the man there showed me how to get the sucker out of the machine without paying for it! I got an extra one for Morgan!
TIme to head back to Morgan’s school for some lunch together! Momma and I had a talk about going to kindergarten and how I wouldn’t go to Guardian Angel anymore after this year. It kind of made me a little scared, but I did see a few of my GAP friends from last year lined up in the hallway! That made me feel a little better.
Soon Morgan came out and took us through the lunch line and then up on stage to eat together! It was really fun to go through the line and buy a snack afterwards.
After we sent Morgan back to her class, we headed to Target to get my Halloween costume and run a few other errands.
We rounded out the day with picking Morgan up from school and having dinner with the whole fam at Pizza Hut salad bar. This day was awe-some!!
