To celebrate Mema’s birthday that was last Thursday, we all (Mema, Pepa, Uncle TC, Aunt Renee, and Baby Mitchell) headed up to the Lighthouse Outlet Mall to do some shopping. We caught a ride with Mema and Pepa in the big truck and met everyone else up there a little later. It was the usual shopping extravaganza with some pictures and snacks built in with stops here and there for playing and bottles for Baby Mitchell. My favorite store was Harry and David’s to get some jet fighter gummy candy. It was all gone in less than 24 hours, and I think I am just coming down from my sugar buzz. We decided to wrap up our trip around six and grab some grub at Applebee’s before the ride back home. Hope you had a happy birthday shopping celebration, Mema!

We had a lot of errands to run on Saturday, but the very first order of business was to go see Toy Story 3! Morgan’s favorite part was when Woody first met Bonnie and went to her house to play with her toys. My favorite part was when Buzz Lightyear talked different (editor’s note: Spanish). Daddy’s favorite part was the 3D glasses!

After the movie, we grabbed some lunch at Joe’s Crab Shack. Although there weren’t any Crabby Patties or yellow sponge cooks, we managed to hook some seafood. Well, most of us, at least…instead of Chicken Of The Sea, I stuck with…chicken.
After that, a few more stores (and a nap for me) before swinging around the city to meet Gigi and Poppa at the airport as they came home from their Canadian Cruise Adventure. Usually, we’re there in plenty of time to walk around, check out the planes, get a snack, roam through the stores, etc. But, this time, their plane was in super-early and we barely caught them at the luggage carousel before they had to jet back to their car. That’s OK, though…something tells me we might just hook up with them again really, really soon.

First, Momma’s iphone has officially been laid to rest. All those out there that haven’t heard, Dt. Mountain Dew and iphones don’t mix and Mt. Dew is pronounced the winner. So due to lack of iphone, Momma will not be tweeting from her phone for awhile.
With that said, here are some funny movie quotes that I’ve taken to repeating (ALL THE TIME) this summer:
(Momma has taken the liberty to try and write them out phonetically, but also remember to add a little ductchiness and lisp to it when repeating)
Toy Story- “That’s not fly-ing…that’s falling in sti-yule!”
Ice Age-Dawn of the Dinosaurs- “Did you die? -Yes. But I leved (lived)!” Many hand motions occur with this one.
This Just In….Birthday Theme Update! Everyday, every hour, Momma asks me what kind of birthday party I want. We have narrowed it down to (drumroll, please) a Toy Story Pirate Dinosaur Party! Good luck, Momma! Theme it up!

When Momma says we’ve got errands to run she commits and takes us along for the ride! We started our day with a drop off at Once Upon a Child that later in the day yielded one less tub of clothes and money in the bank! We speedy quick ran over to Mema’s to take her along for the ride. By the end of our stops at Toys r Us, Best Buy, a stop to see Uncle TC, the bank, Dick’s, Finish Line, Walmart, and a couple of fancy drinks thrown in there Mema didn’t know what hit her! Strap in, Mema, the summer has just begun!
AND-tonight I told momma that I wanted to wear unders to bed instead of my night-time unders. Baby Mitchell, I may have some pull-ups to pass your way soon! Hang on to your underpants, everyone. We’ll see how all this plays out! Night all!
