Thank you to Uncle TC and Aunt Renee for a super fun evening of movies, McDonald’s, and snuggles! Mommy and Daddy thank you, too! We hope we can do it again soon!

If you thought that our pre-Christmas routine was busy, it doesn’t hold a candle to Christmas Day! We woke up about 7 and bounced down the stairs to find a whole pile of presents from Santa (we can tell it was him because he ate the cookies we left out)! I got a ton of cool boy toys, like a Bat Cave and off-road trucks. Una got lots of pink and purple stuff, including a hot pink Nintendo DSi. We must have been on the “Nice List” this year!

Next, we packed in the sleigh and mushed up to Lafayette to meet up with Gigi, Poppa, Riley, Taylor, Aunt Carrie, and Uncle Manata…for more Christmas madness! We were buried in gifts but managed to tear through them all to get to the treasures under the fancy paper. We all had fun playing together with Zhu Zhu Pets and my big Dragon Castle while Mada, Anadelle, Jill, and the Bloomington Frenches all came to join in the holiday fun. Mema and Pepa even showed up for a sec to hook with with Gigi and Poppa for there super-secret mission…a new kitchen table for Mommy and Daddy. While they were there, we put them to work loading Pepa’s truck with toys and clothes while they were pelted with sleet…a time-honored Christmas tradition.

Next up was to meet Mema and Pepa at their own house and continue the festivities with them and TC and Renee. Contrary to popular belief, all of Lafayette hadn’t yet been bought out and there were even more presents to be passed around! After all of that holiday cheer, we finally started to wind down at about 10:30 and hit the hay.

Since then, though, we’ve been continually re-discovering all of the new toys and games. Thanks to everyone for hanging out with us on Christmas and we hope that you had as much fun as we did!

Christmas Day

Just a quick glimpse in to our night when we moved my mattress in to Mommy and Daddy’s room for a holiday slumber party!

Parker has taken to saying “yip.”
Momma: Parker, do you want a snack?
Parker: Yip.
