Sleepover

May 31st, 2009 @ 6:05 pm

On Friday, we had special visitors over to our house…Adam and Jude! Their Mommy and Daddy went out to see some music, so they got to hang out at our house for a while. We all talked and laughed while we ate dinner, then we had some ice cream before going outside to play. We hit the swing set for a little while, then took a walk all around the court and the neighborhood. Next up was bath time…boys in one tub, girl (singular) in the other. Who do you think got clean faster? :)

Everyone snuggled down and pretty much fell right to sleep after such an exciting evening. In the morning, we watched some TV and played games for a while, but before long, it was time for Adam and Jude to head back home to their house. We had a lot of fun hanging out with you guys and I hope I get a chance to play again soon!

Also, as an added bonus, Daddy put together a little project this weekend. Mommy had a great idea to put a climbing wall on our playhouse instead of the steep, complicated ladder to get up to the slide. Check me out!

Big bed

May 28th, 2009 @ 9:05 pm

Tonight, Mommy and Daddy moved me out of my crib and in to a big boy bed. Well, at this point, it is just my same crib mattress laying on the floor. But, I feel like a big boy and exercised my new found freedom by coming to the top of the stairs about 10 times before finally racking out. This big bed stuff is pretty fun!

Moving Day

May 25th, 2009 @ 8:11 pm

Today was moving day for Uncle TC and Aunt Renee, and they are now officially living in their new digs tonight! We arrived at the apartment to help around 9:30 and they were moved in to their house by 1:00! MLee and I helped, too…mostly providing entertainment for everyone else. We chowed on some pizza and breadsticks to celebrate and then made a quick flyby over to Gigi and Poppa’s to say hello before heading back to Lebanon for some artsie-fartsie painting. Momma bought some big white canvases for Una and I to go to town painting how ever we wanted. I rolled my cars around in the paint while Morgan had a plan that involved sand, shells, and clouds, but once she saw my abstract take on the project, she quickly shifted gears and went all Jackson Pollock style! You’ll be able to check out our handy work in our stairwell as soon as they dry!

Mulch-a-rific

May 18th, 2009 @ 11:49 am

Mommy packed Morgan and I up on Sunday and we started heading back up north to Lafayette. At first, Daddy thought it was a preventative measure to protect us kids because Daddy was about to mow again, and we all know what happened last time. But, as it turns out, she was just swapping cars for Pepa’s big truck to get a whole bunch of mulch for the yard. I wasn’t too excited about the process of loading the mulch in the truck…it was a little scary. But, once the gunk was all scooped in, it was time to take it back home to scoop it all back out! Mommy and Daddy worked really hard with shovels, rakes, and buckets to spread the mulch all over the place, including the flower beds, mailbox, side of the house, back yard, swing set, etc. Morgan and I played and played outside until we wore ourselves out! In fact, I was so tired that I was practically falling asleep while I ate dinner!

Pee-Pee and Parties

May 10th, 2009 @ 8:07 pm

Just a Clif Note on the pee-pee front…I’m doing awesome! I even stayed dry in bed all night.

Big thanks to Aunt Carrie for an awesome party today! I had lots of fun playing with everyone there!

Also, thanks to EVERYONE who has taken care of us over the past week of insane craziness! Our parental unit couldn’t have done it without you!
