Here is a quick update on the latest goings-on for our loyal readers. Thursday was Turkey Day, but I didn’t eat any turkey. I didn’t like it. It was yucky. So, I went for the traditional Thanksgiving feast of crackers and cheese. However, I did have fun playing with a cool little remote control car and playing with rocks outside of the Battleground Lion’s Club.
After that Thanksgiving, it was time for another Thanksgiving! We headed over to Mema and Pepa’s house to chow down on more goodies. There were some technical difficulties with the turkey cooker (don’t get TC started), but everything turned out great. Best of all, we got to watch Polar Express, Christmas Vacation, and Elf. It was about all the happy holiday cheer I could handle, so I konked out pretty early. I think the rest of the grown-ups were pretty close behind me, though, because I could hear snoring from every corner of the house!
On Friday, we skipped the crazy shopping rush and meandered around the house until the first wave of bargain hunters died down. Then, we packed up and scooted to Gigi’s for Gigi Friday! We played for a minute while Mommy and Daddy snuck out of the house, then we jetted out to pick up Mada and hit the movie theater. Gigi took us to see Bolt and eat popcorn…I can’t figure out which I liked more
. I was feeling a little under the weather after all of the excitement, so I went home to take a nap while Gigi and Morgan played and played. Not long after I got up, Mommy and Daddy were back to wrap up this holiday party and settle us back down at home.
Thanks to everyone for feeding us and letting us crash and play at their pad during the last few days. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed spending time with you all!

On Friday, Gigi came down to spend the day with me, but stayed for a very special treat. Since Daddy was having a Poker Party with his friends from his school, we all went out to see Madagascar 2! And when I say “we all”, I mean everyone…Gigi, Mommy, Morgan, Riley, Taylor, Aunt Carrie, Aunt Jill, and Jennifer. We pretty much filled the place when we all took our seats and settled in for the show. It was a pretty funny movie…it definitely made me want to MOVE IT, MOVE IT! Thanks to everyone for making the trip to Leb-town and hanging out for the evening!
When we came back home, all of the big boys were right where we left them…at the table playing cards. The only difference was, it looked like Daddy had given everyone else some of the coins that were sitting in front of him. Probably for their piggy banks, I’m guessing.

Yesterday was not just any Gigi day…it was Halloween Gigi day! We took part in some extra special activities with some extra special friends. We met up with Aunt Carrie, Riley, and Taylor at the library for books, stories, and crafts. Then, we headed to Chik-fil-a and ran in to Chuckie and Carlos, too! We ate a really good lunch and then played like crazy on the playground before it was time to head back for a little bit of quiet time.
When I woke up from my nap, I was surprised to see Daddy there! He came home from his trip to Chicago just in time for the festivities of the evening. Not long after I woke up, the party really started jumping. One by one, Aunt Carrie, Riley, Taylor, Mada, Uncle Manata, Poppa, Carlos, Meesa, Chuckie, and Ules all showed up to see our Halloween costumes. I dressed up as a train engineer and the girls were all butterfly fairies (with lots of glitter!). Meesa and Carlos dressed up like characters from Harry Potter, complete with flashing wands.
After a little bit of showing off, it was time to head out to the mall for some action packed trick or treating. I was in to it for the first few stores, but then figured I had plenty of candy and sort of pooped out. Morgan and the girls were determined to fill their bags and hit every one of the stops they could find.
Finally, we topped off the night with a visit to TC and Rene’s apartment. They furthered our candy conquest with another big bag of goodies and treats. My favorite part was the crazy pumpkin that would sing “I want candy”, complete with animated mouth and flapping lid to the candy treasure inside.
Thanks to everyone for making our Halloween extra ghoulish and spooky!
