On Saturday, Morgan, Daddy, and I held down the fort while Mommy went to mix up some more crazy yummies at Dream Dinners. We played during the morning, then Daddy and Morgan worked to install some new light fixtures while I took a nappy nap. When I got up, Daddy had a special surprise…Ice Cream Paradise! We shared a vanilla dish (with 2 cherries!) and a cherry Diet Coke while we made good use of the playground equipment.

Sunday morning started out normal enough with a trip to Lafayette for an errand. We stopped by Mema and Pepa’s and got wrapped up in some of their fancy new toys and, of course, the swimming pool! By the time we got out, it was time to head back to the homestead for a romper room time with Uncle Manata, Aunt Carrie, Riley, and Taylor! Then, shortly after we got warmed up with them, Gigi and Poppa showed up to keep the party kicking! We played and played and played until no more playing came out. Snacks

So on Sunday, Momma tried to put my new unders on me to see just how they looked…I could have just told her…super cute!! Well, Momma quickly found out that if my bits (sorry for the graphic nature) are covered by anything-diaper or unders- I’m going to just do business as usual. BUT-when I’m running around the house with my chubby buns flappin’ in the breeze, I handle my business on the potty! I went two times successfully on Sunday without any accidents. So, moral to the story-no unders, just naked time!

Parker’s 2 Year Pictures

Thanks to everyone that came to help celebrate my 2nd birthday with an Elmo pool party at Mooma and Poopa’s house! You guys are crazy nuts with all of your gifts, but Big Sis and I have had a blast breaking a few out each day and turning the dining room in to yet another toy room in the house!

Parker’s 2nd Birthday Party

Mister Man,
Another year has quickly gone by, and here I am sitting in the exact same spot at almost the exact same time writing you your 2nd birthday post. This year has been amazing! I tell everyone I know that, “Boys are so different…they should come with a manual!” There are times when you (and Una) put the “Crazy” in “Crazytown” around here, but we’ll take it. It’s also quite amazing how you can make my heart smile even when you’re telling me, “sorry” and giving me a hug after being in timeout. Daddy and I have watched you go from your taking your very first step to hopping everywhere you go! You always amaze us with the things you can do and the things you say. You are the cutest boy I’ve ever known, and many times, I could get lost staring at your round little face…taking in every little expression you make. You truly are, “so big.” This time last year, the feeling Momma and Daddy had was, “Whew, we made it through alive.” This year it’s been, “Wow-it’s gone so fast and what’s next?!” Your smile is still captivating (and muppet-like), your laugh is still infectious, your snuggles still awesome, and the way you and Morgan are brother and sister, well, that’s just awesome. Happy Birthday, Parker.
