Mullet-B-Gone

Just to prove that we got rid of the 80′s rat tail, see the pics below. Also, be sure to click all the way through for a special dress-up mishap surprise.

Bye-bye Mullet…Hello Fair!

@ 9:02 am

Momma and Dada decided it was time to cut my rat-tail off. So, very unceremoniously, she pulled out the scissors while I ate fruit snacks in the loft and cut the thing off on Monday. Dada took pictures and will be posted soon, but I thought I’d give everyone a head’s up in case you might have a new mullet joke in the works. I must admit, it does make me much more aerodynamic in Mema’s pool…so much so that every time I come up from being underwater, I shake my head back and forth to get all of my luscious locks out of my face…like a slow motion movie!

Also, I wanted to thank Mema, Pepa, and TC for showing Morgan and I around the Tippecanoe Fair. I got a red balloon, touched a cow, checked out the horses, poked a couple of bunnies, imitated the roosters, and…well…just looked at the sheep, and then hit the carnie for two quick spins on the merry-go-round. I tried my hand at winning a goldfish, but no luck. I did impress bystanders with my super awesome throwing arm! I was able to get every ball to at least hit the targets! Thanks to Big Sis, too, for being such a get carnie game player! She won a pink pig and a penguin! I’m not sure yet which toy she is “sharing” with me yet. I’ll let you know!

Choo Choo!

July 17th, 2008 @ 8:59 pm

We had a great time at the Children’s Museum today. You can read more about it over at Morgan’s site, but I wanted to share my very favorite part…the trains! I was pretty excited to see all of the engines pulling the cars around the track and pointed out every choo choo I saw.

Warning: the video is pretty big and will take a while to download, but it is pretty darn cute!
