Circus, Circus!
Last night, Morgan and I got to see The Greatest Show on Earth! Daddy was able to score some suite tickets to the circus down at the Conseco Fieldhouse, so Mommy scooped us up from school and we headed straight down to Indy. We stopped to meet Daddy at his work and play with his friends there before braving the Meridian Street traffic.
When we walked in, it was already my regular bed time, but Morgan and I were troopers! We were captivated by the elephants, clowns, motorcycles, strong man, cats, and especially the acrobats. We couldn’t take our eyes off all the crazy stunts and funny skits. Even though we had to leave at intermission (8:30 pm!), we had a great time at the circus!

What great fun!!!
I remember as a very young girl that the circus came to town once a year and pitched their tents on what is now the Lafayette Golf Course. Maybe that is why the grass is so green there. It was quite an event. They used the elephants to put up the poles for the tents. (They didn’t have Lafayette Tent and Awning.)
