Last night, Morgan and I got to see The Greatest Show on Earth! Daddy was able to score some suite tickets to the circus down at the Conseco Fieldhouse, so Mommy scooped us up from school and we headed straight down to Indy. We stopped to meet Daddy at his work and play with his friends there before braving the Meridian Street traffic.
When we walked in, it was already my regular bed time, but Morgan and I were troopers! We were captivated by the elephants, clowns, motorcycles, strong man, cats, and especially the acrobats. We couldn’t take our eyes off all the crazy stunts and funny skits. Even though we had to leave at intermission (8:30 pm!), we had a great time at the circus!

Flashback to one year ago today…
“So after pushing Mommy to yet another breaking point, she decided to chalk my Monday up to a growth spurt and me still not being ale to tolerate the convenient drop-in bottles. I think it was the only 2 hours total of sleeping that I did for the entire day that made Momma crazy! Also, Ive decided to change up her ridged feeding schedule. I want to eat when I want and how much I want. I’m definitely showing her who wears the big baggy newborn pants in the house!”
WOW! Momma should have read and considered that post BEFORE she took Big Sis and I to Dip-It (El Jarpieo) for dinner…by HERSELF! No Daddy! But, she braved it anyway, and needless to say it was great! I pointed out the bull and horse painted on the wall and identified both with a thoat sound much like having popcorn stuck in your throat.
Mommy Note: A little nerve racking at the thought of a restuarnt trip solo, but it was awesome! Parks chowed on guacamole and said, “Hi,” Morgan dipped everything in the awesome cheese, and I enjoyed every second! Whoo-hoo!!

On the way home on Monday, Morgan and Daddy had the brilliant idea to stop and get all of the ingredients for Smores. I must say that I enjoyed this tasty little adventure. Check me out!

The last few days have been very hectic in the Lawson Household. First, while Morgan and I were at school on Friday, Baby Jude Byrne was born! While he was being born at 7:49 AM, I was eating my second breakfast with my friends at school! He weighed in at 7 pounds, 2 ounces (if Momma remembers correctly). Finally, someone who’s smaller than me! Congratulations to Rob, Jennifer, and Adam on their newest addition!
When Momma and Daddy picked me up at 3:30, we were on our way to Gigi’s house. There, we met up with Riley, Taylor, and Aunt Carrie. It was fun to show them all my new walking’ moves. Not a pro yet, but getting closer every day. Here’s where everything gets a little different. Mommy, Daddy, AND MORGAN left. That’s right, I had Gigi and Poppa all to myself. And let me tell you, it wasn’t just for a few hours, I got to spend the night!! Apparently, Uncle TC was getting married to Renee (read Morgan’s post to find out more) and everyone was in the wedding but me. I think I got vetoed because of the non-walking issue. Fine by me. I got to eat M & Ms for dinner. I bet no one else got to do that! Anyway, I slept really well at their house, and got up the next morning to hang with Mada, too, before the big shin-ding. We went to the church a little early to see Morgan and Mommy and Daddy. Morgan…I recognized….Mommy and Daddy….not so much! After watching them all walk up and down the isle, and giving a few shout-outs during the ceremony, it was on to the reception to eat and get crazy. I did both pretty well, but I was very tired and had to duck out early for bed-time. Sorry I didn’t get to see Uncle TC get down on the dance floor. Maybe I’m too young to be submitted to such things anyway!
Mommy, Daddy, and I really want to thank Gigi and Poppa for talking care of me overnight. I had tons of fun! Also, big thanks to Mada for letting me play in the sun room by myself! Also, thanks to Aunt Carrie and Uncle Manata for entertaining me during the big festivities! Lots of love!

It is all about the right motivation. Toys…a couple of steps. Snacks…about 4 steps. To chase Kitty…you’ll get about 5 or 6! I’m still working on it, but we’re definitely making a lot of progress on the walking stuff lately.
