Last night, Mommy and Daddy got the wild idea that I was ready for some heavy duty eatin’. They mixed up some rice cereal mush and spooned it in my gaping maw, only to watch me plop it back out on to my already-soaked bib. They kept scooping in shovelfuls of the goop and managed to get a little down. I think my reaction and facial expressions say it all:

If you read Morgan’s diary, you know that our day started out a little rocky today, but we made it through. Being my second time under the lights…I know what you’re thinking…second time? Yes, the first round of pictures I had taken were done when I was one month old and still VERY mad at the world. So Mommy just calls those pictures “documentation,” and didn’t give them to anyone. They really aren’t my best side.
Back to today. Mommy says I used up all my smiles in the first round of family pictures, but I saved the best “pout” for last. Anyway, if smiles were so important, then why did she pick all the pictures of me NOT smiling?!? The whole grinning, cooing, and smiling thing takes a lot of energy…throw me a bone, Momma!! In retaliation, I puked on every outfit they put me in.
Before coming home we hit Hobby Lobby, TGIFriday’s, and Costco. Big day for a little guy like me!

Age: 3 months

Nicknames: Meatball, Park, Fluffy Head, Chubby Cheeps
Likes: Faces, singing and music, standing up, snuggling, checking out everyone’s business.
Dislikes: Being alone, being bored, car rides.
Notes: Mommy and Daddy still work really hard to get me to smile and laugh because I’m so cute. I like to coo, squeak, and grunt back when you talk to me. I’m now taking 2 tbsp of rice cereal in every bottle because it helps things stay down in my growing belly. I’m sleeping really well, which makes everyone happy. I go down at about 7, then Daddy wakes me up for a bottle at 10 (which we’re thinking about dropping), and then I sleep until about 6. I started to go to day care because Mommy is back at work, so I come home pretty tired from all the activity there. I was a green and blue dinosaur for Halloween.
