Whew, what a big week its been so far.  Monday was my first day at school…just like my big sister!  It was a little hard for Mommy and Daddy to send me off to play with the other kids that day, but I did well and have continued to do well all week.  I’m definitely exhausted, though…it is quite a workout to pack up, get to school, play there, then come home and play.  I’m ready to hit the sack at 7:00 each night.

Monday was exciting for another reason, too.  Free burritos from Chipolte for all Conseco associates, so you know Daddy hooked that up on the way home.  That night, though, things went downhill fast and Mommy and Daddy were up all night having all sorts of troubles.  Daddy barely braved through a 1/2 day on Tuesday before coming home to…ummmm…get rid of the rest of the bad food.  Apparently, there were several people that got sick that day, so we won’t have burritos at our house for a while except for baby burritos at bath time!  They aren’t back to 100% yet, but they’re feeling better.  Big, big, big thanks to Gigi and Poppa for helping with bath and bed when Mommy and Daddy could barely even get up to walk on Tuesday night!

Today was a big day for all of us. I woke up a little early for my morning bottle, but then took a pretty good morning nap while Mommy, Daddy, and Morgan rested (well, Mommy and Daddy rested while Morgan squirmed, crawled, flopped, and watched TV). When we got up and going, it was off to Gigi and Poppa’s to welcome them back from their big trip to South Carolina! We weren’t there very long before Aunt Carrie and Uncle Manata showed up with our favorite cousins, Riley and Taylor. They were a little curious about me since I’m still a baby, but played really, really well with my big sister all day. I’m a little jealous of all the fun they had, but I’ll be walking soon and then they’ll have a boy to mix in to the group! Until then, I’ll soak up all of the snuggles and kisses from everyone…especially Gigi who kisses my head every 20 seconds as she holds me (I think she likes me)!

Likes: Being double swaddled really tight, my loud sound machine, playing binky bop, kicking and moving, smiling, the car toy with blinky lights that roars like a lion and sings songs, my star that has blinky lights and sings songs, my Big Sister Morgan that roars like a lion and has blinky eyes and sings songs.
Dislikes: Taking medicine, Momma picking my toenails, being strapped in to my car bucket, shots.
Notes: I’m taking medicine that helps my tummy feel better, and it has really started to help my mood and feedings.  I really love to play and smile (I started smiling at about 5 weeks!).  I can almost laugh, but it sounds more like a cough to everyone…which makes it funnier!  I hit the bed at about 7 and Daddy feeds me my last bottle at 10, then I rack out for another 4-6 hours but I’ve been known to sleep for 8-10 hours on occasion.  I’ve found my hands and I love to shove them in my mouth.  I like to hold my head up and let it bob around while I take in the sights.  I make the same poop face that my sister did.
