So after pushing Mommy to yet another breaking point, she decided to chalk my Monday up to a growth spurt and me still not being ale to tolerate the convenient drop-in bottles. I think it was the only 2 hours total of sleeping that I did for the entire day that made Momma crazy! Also, Ive decided to change up her ridged feeding schedule. I want to eat when I want and how much I want. I’m definitely showing her who wears the big baggy newborn pants in the house!

I’d like to give shout outs to all those Grandparents and Great-Grandparents out there without whom there would be no Parker Cay!!

Age: 1 month
Height: 22 3/4 inches
Weight: 10 pounds 4 oz
Nicknames:
Likes: Eating 5 oz per feeding every 4 hours, being swaddled and held…all the time.
Dislikes: Not being directly attached to someone.
Notes: I’ve been using a new formula that seems to help my belly a little, but they’ll need the super-extra strength version to combat my crankiness. Bath time seems to go OK for quite a while before I politely ask to be removed from the tub…errrrr…I mean…yell. My big sister can usually stop me from crying for a minute or two by doing silly dances and singing “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”.  I still wear size newborn clothes, and they’re too big!! Haven’t visited any places outside of Mema’s and Gigi’s house…a little too unpredictably cranky for that.

On Friday, I got to spend some quality time with Mema in the rocking chair. Mommy had to take lunch to Morgan’s school for a “Thank you” since it was her last day at that school, so Mema came down to hang with me until Mommy got back. I was a little cranky when Mommy left, but Mema and I had a 30 minute staring contest and then I was down for the count. I guess she won! Thanks, Mema!
Formula Update: So I’m a litlle high maintenace. If you didn’t already know, I’m taking Alimentum (a specialty formula), BUT it has to be “Ready to Feed;” none of this put a little powder in and shake business. Nope. I make Mommy and Daddy use the expensive stuff AND warm all my bottles! I’m already runnin’ this joint! Anyway, big shout-outs to Gigi and Dr. Mary Lou for helping my belly to feel better (and giving us hookups on formula)! I tried to tell Mommy with all of my crying that I wasn’t feeling well, but it took a trip to Ferry Street Peds to get someone to listen to me! Thanks!!
